General Questions

Where are your offices located?

We have offices in Orem, Birhgam City, and Taylorsville (right off of I-15 4500 South Exit).

How long are sessions?

Our clients typically spend 50 minutes per session with their therapists.

Occasionally, Recreation Therapists will schedule longer sessions, but this is a choice made in advance by the therapist and the client.

What are your hours?

Our hours are:
Monday-Friday 9am-8pm
Saturday 9am-3pm

Closed for all major holidays

Can I opt to have therapy while walking a trail?

Yep, you sure can!

When we started this practice, our goal was to have all of our clients enjoy the benefits of nature therapy and experiential therapy. Since then, we have realized that many clients feel emotionally safer indoors. We have a fantastic quite trail just a stone throw away for those who desire to utilize it.

Financial Questions

How much do you charge?

Intake Sessions (your first session) are $150
Mental Health Sessions are $140  (cash-pay discounts are available)
Recreation Therapy Sessions are $89

Do you offer a sliding scale or discounted rates?

We do have a sliding scale (discounts) for clients who need it.

What is a 'Super Bill' and how do I get one?

Great Question! I’m glad you asked.

A Super Bill is a specific type of receipt that includes all the information that insurance companies need in order to consider reimbursing you for expenses (partial or full) that you paid to an Out-Of-Network (ONN) provider.
If we do not accept your insurance and you would like to work with one of our providers, you can pay out of pocket, and then request a ‘Super Bill’ for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Some insurances reimburse, some don’t so we really don’t have a way to help you determine if they will reimburse, but they can. Simply call the number on the back of your insurance card.

*The therapy session must be paid for in order for our system to generate a Super Bill.

What if you don't accept my insurance?

Great news! We are actively working on becoming credentialed with many of Utah’s major insurance companies. We anticipate these to be processed soon. We will switch them over to the “Accepted tab” as soon as we can take each insurance.

Can I still see a therapist if you don't take my insurance?

Absolutely! We’d simply bill you as a self-pay client. Once you’ve paid for your session, we will email you a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for a potential reimbursement. Want to know more about SuperBills? We’d love to chat (385) 312-0787

Scheduling Questions

How soon can I get an appointment?

We have new client appointments available every week! One of our goals is to never have a waitlist, so we are constantly hiring. If you have a specific provider you are determined to see, or if you have an insurance that only 1-2 of our providers accept, your wait may be a bit longer, but typically, you can get an appointment within a couple days.

How do I schedule my first session?

We aim to please and make scheduling easy. Choose the option that works best for you:

How often do I come to therapy?

This depends on your personal goals, and it’s something we will decide together. Most people start with one session per week and then move to every other week after they’ve made progress toward their goals.

If the session is for my child/teenager do I come too?

Great question! The first session, you will definitely need to be there. After that, the therapist will mainly work with your child/teenager, but he/she may frequently pull you in for a moment to make sure you are part of the treatment goals and outcome.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because we reserve the entire hour specifically for you, we request a 25 hour notice for cancellations. If a session is cancelled between 12-25 hours before the session a $50 fee will be applied to cover a portion of the providers time and missed income. If the session is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice, the client will be charged the entire session fee. We understand illness and unforeseeable circumstances occur. If this happens, please call our receptionists BEFORE the appointment.

How do I schedule a couples session?

Schedule a couples sessions just like you would an individual session. Simply include both names in the name box if scheduling online. Good news! Couples therapy sessionsa are the same price as an individual session.

How much paperwork do I have to fill out?

No need to fill out a ton of paperwork! We’ll send you an email when you schedule and you can quickly complete the forms before you come…and it will only take a few minutes – painless, we promise!
